Add to Calendar 08-07-2013 22-08-2013 15 Summer Program at the HSBC Children's Garden at QBG The HSBC Children’s Garden at Queens Botanical Garden offers children in our diverse metropolitan area a rare opportunity to learn about science and nature through practical, hands-on experiences in an outdoor environment. When summer arrives, the fun and learning heat up, as children make salads from their spring vegetable plantings, bake cookies in a solar oven, learn about climate and environment, raise and release butterflies, plant delicious summer vegetables, conduct scavenger hunts, build planters and terrariums and lots more! Ages 5 through 12. Summer I – Mondays & Wednesdays, July 8-August 21, 9am to 4pm. 7 weeks: July 8 – August 21: $810 QBG members / $900 non-members. July only: July 8-July 31: $441 QBG members / $490 non-members. August only: August 5-21: $378 QBG members / $420 non-members. Summer II – Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 9-August 22, 9am to 4pm. 7 weeks: July 9-August 22: $810 QBG members / $900 non-members. July only: July 9-August 1: $441 QBG members / $490 non-members.
