The Intrepid Summer Movie Series, presented by Dr. Pepper, continues with a free public screening of the action-adventure sci-fi film Star Trek (1979) on Friday, July 26th, at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan. Doors open at 7:30 PM; the film begins at sunset.
Visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets to the screening, which will take place on a huge inflatable screen on the Flight Deck of the aircraft carrier. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no admission after 8:30 PM. Food and beverages are allowed; however, alcohol is not permitted.
