Description: U2Nation consists of Albert Saadi (vocals), Matt Dooley (guitar/keyboard), Jeff Pizzi (drums), and Brad Grauer (bass). The band was formed in February 2003 and since then U2Nation has created a buzz performing in the NJ, NYC, and PA venues. What makes U2Nation such a great U2 tribute band is the passion all four members have for U2 music and how they demonstrate that same passion on stage. Not only do they look, move, and sound like U2 but they have such energy that at all of their shows the audience becomes part of the show. Whether it's singing along with Al, dancing up on stage with the band, or just getting the whole place rocking, the band becomes one with the audience.
BonJourney Mike Ledesma - Lead Vocals/Guitar: is a busy NYC singer/songwriter/guitarist with a long history in the music business. He has been singing for over 20 years and has fronted many bands before BonJourney. Originally a guitar player, Mike's first band Devoshun signed to Satellite Music Inc when they were still in their teens and had an underground dance hit with "No, No, No, My Friend". Mike went on to become a NYC session guitarist for many years and fronted metal bands Panther, Next of Kin, and Hangtown during the height of metal mania in New York. As grunge set in he was hired by RCA Records as a songwriter and producer of local NYC bands and cut his teeth engineering, producing, and mixing in some of the biggest studios in the city. During the years Mike learned how to sing and continues to train in vocal mastery with master coach Roger Posy. He has been active in the tribute scene singing for many tribute bands and scored a major opportunity to showcase his vocal talents when he was given the singer spot in BonJourney. Like most serious singers, Steve Perry was always a major influence. Performing Bon Jovi's material was just the icing on the cake. Not every singer can sing Journey's tunes with the same authenticity and power as the legendary Mr. Perry. But, Mike does it with ease and finesse. In the original keys. Mike continues his love for guitar playing and regularly plays bebop jazz and is studying flamenco with teacher Dennis Koster.
