Add to Calendar 24-05-2014 26-05-2014 15 Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit Featuring an impressive roster of over 125 individual artists and craft artisans, each selling their own work directly to the public, the show continues to attract outstanding new and veteran artists in all of the fine arts, including photography and sculpture, as well as craft artisans in jewelry, glass, woodworking, ceramics, fiber and mixed media. There will be several special additions to the Spring show this year including a booth by the Police Athletic League, celebrating its 100th anniversary highlighting the organization's history and services. 2014 is recognized as the "Year of the Coast Guard," and in partnership with the Coast Guard Art Program (COGAP), a special exhibit of COGAP art, jointly sponsored by the United States Coast Guard and the Salmagundi Club, will be on display in Schwartz Plaza. Participating COGAP artists produce impressive paintings of Coast Guard ships, operations and installations to be featured in embassies, consulates and other government entities.
