Devoted mostly to abstract artists, the Chelsea Art Museum showcases exhibitions, public forums, and interactive, multi-media activities to the public. The permanent collection is dominated by work from Jean Miotte, co-founder of the museum and originator of L'Art informel,but it also holds work by many other European and Amercan Abstract artist, as well as sculpture and rare books and drawings.
