Watson Adventures’ Wizard School Scavenger Hunt for Harry Potter Fans - Metropolitan Museum of Art
February 16, 2019 - New York

Join us on a Harry Potter-themed scavenger hunt for kids ages 10 and up! Young wizards will enjoy a trip to the Metropolitan Museum, in search of art that echoes characters and enchanted objects in the Harry Potter books. You'll track down serpents, Dumbledore look-alikes, and figures as scary as any Death Eater. The hunt is not an addition to or variation on Harry’s adventures, but instead references to the books will provide a surprising bridge to many strange and wonderful works of art. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, but all-adult teams can compete separately. Advance purchase is required. Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum Announces 2019 Kids Week Schedule - Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum

Over 30 Partners Participating in Themed Week of Fun, Educational Programming During NYC Public School Winter Break The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host its annual Kids Week festival from Sunday, February 17–Saturday, February 23. During Kids Week, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in dozens of fun-filled activities, live animal shows, hands-on workshops, musical performances, special guests and interactive demonstrations that the whole family will enjoy. This year, the Kids Week theme is Full STEAM Ahead where science, technology, engineering, arts, math and fun take center stage. PJ Library Helps The 14th Street Y Connect Jewish Families and Celebrate Jewish Life Grants will strengthen social connections and increase opportunities for Jewish experiences and learning across the New York Metro area New York, NY- Manhattan-area families raising Jewish children will now have more opportunities to participate in Jewish life, thanks to a grant recently awarded by PJ Library®, a flagship program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation that provides free books to families raising Jewish children all over the world. The 14th Street Y received $15,000 to expand Pause/Play's PJ Play program, which provides accessible, theatrical Shabbat experiences for families with young children in our East Village community. The winning initiatives are designed to provide innovative programs that find and engage families who are new to the organization and connect families to compelling and high-quality Jewish experiences in New York.They range from family cooking series to social justice programming to Shabbat experiences.
