Watson Adventures’ Whodunit at the Met Family Scavenger Hunt - Metropolitan Museum of Art

Join Watson Adventures on a unique murder mystery scavenger hunt for kids 10 and up! A killer is on the loose at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and it’s up to you to stop him! The killer has created a scavenger hunt that reveals his name, the weapon he used and where he hid the body. Follow the trail of clues and answer tricky questions to solve the crime. Can you figure out whodunit? Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Price includes museum admission. Advance purchase is required.

Magic show - Broadway Comedy Club

Prepare yourself for an afternoon filled with mystery and inspiration during the Magic Show, one hour show at the legendary Broadway Comedy Club. Rich Kameda will enchant the young at heart with a dazzling display of sleight of hand tricks for kids and mentalism for adults. It is an interactive experience for the young at heart. Calling all artsy kids! Join us for a special family program as we look closely at our brand-new exhibition Releasing Words, featuring artist Deborah Ugoretz's works in cut paper. We'll focus on how Ugoretz uses a centuries-old Jewish craft – papercutting – to turn ideas, stories and traditions into intricate and complex art. Then, prepare to turn your own ideas and stories into art as we make our very own paper-cut art. Recommended for children ages five and up and their adult companions.

Calling all artsy kids! Join a super-fun exploration of Releasing Words, the museum’s exhibition of contemporary artist Deborah Ugoretz’s works in paper. Take a closer look at how the artist uses a centuries-old Jewish craft – papercutting – to turn ideas, stories and traditions into intricate and beautiful art. Plus, see how the artist uses this traditional skill to create more modern pieces – including a series inspired by Pablo Neruda’s poetry. Then, inspired by what they see, kids will turn their own idea, stories or poems into cut-paper art. Recommended for children ages 5-11 and their adult companions. Admission is: $14 for adults/$8 for children and seniors. Children ages 5 and under admitted for free. RSVP required.
