Standing On The Corner, to Headline at Rainbow Room for New Live Concert Series - Rainbow Room

The legendary New York venue will open its doors for a free, intimate live music concert featuring local group, Standing On The Corner. Set 65 stories above the landmark Rockefeller Plaza with unparalleled panoramic views in every direction, a limited number of guests are invited to attend the first public show in the new concert series. The performance will take place on a bespoke set and there will be a cash bar available to attendees. Standing On The Corner is an amorphous art ensemble helmed by Shamel Cee Mystery, aka Gio Escobar. Based in New York City, the group creates celestial music inspired by and made for all people of the African diaspora. Their eponymous debut album release in 2016 was followed by the critically acclaimed 2017 album, Red Burns. Most recently SOTC contributed heavily to Earl Sweatshirt's latest album Some Rap Songs. Their cosmic and ever-changing live set seen them go from underground art spaces to packed concert halls and storied venues such as the Rainbow Room. Note: Must RSVP for attendance
