Winter’s almost over and spring is right around the corner, and whether you’re shopping for yourself or gifts, New York City has stores that provide the apparel, electronics, home supplies and apparel you’ll need. Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market, is open every Saturday and Sunday with close to 200 vendors selling antiques, collectibles, fine crafts, handmade jewelry, decorative arts, and vintage clothing. Designers, celebrities, and locals shop here. Its location southwest of Times Square provides a sweeping midtown view and a uniquely New York feel. Another flea market, GreenFlea is a year-round indoor-outdoor market that features an incredible array of antiques and collectibles, jewelry, fashion apparel, ethnic handicrafts, new and antique home furnishings, and memorabilia. Plus CDs, books, children’s clothing and more. And there’s also a farmers’ market. Admission is free, and the market is open rain or shine. If you’re looking for an invaluable NYC memento, visit Gallery of International Naïve Art (GINA).
