As one of the most anticipated equestrian events of the year, the Rolex Central Park Horse Show is returning to New York City’s iconic Wollman Rink. The fourth annual event will feature five days of diverse programming and daily exhibitions of different breeds and disciplines. This year’s champion riders include Georgina Bloomberg, Kent Farrington (ranked #1 equestrian in the world), Mclain Ward (ranked #2 equestrian in the world), Brianne Goutal, Jimmy Torano, and many more. New to 2017, Gladiator Polo™, presented by the U.S. Polo Association, combines the world’s best polo players with modified rules to keep the competition fast. The Rolex Central Park Horse Show will also feature FREE events available for families, kids and the public on September 24, including equestrian demonstrations, presentations and other activities. Tickets will be available starting July 21 at http://cphs.coth.com/page/tickets.

NYRR Open Run - Brooklyn Bridge Park

New York Road Runners invite you to join their free Tuesday night Open Runs! Whether you're a first time runner, a seasoned marathoner, or you prefer to walk, you're welcome along. No need to register in advance; sign-in takes place on site. Volunteers track the timing and marshal the course, but please leave your valuables at home as bag check is not provided. To participate, meet on the path south of Fornino at Pier 6 at 6:45pm for registration. The run begins at 7:00pm and the course comprises a full 5K. NYRR Open Runs are open to all ages. Strollers and dogs on leashes welcome.
