Piled high with hilarity, esprit de family and tons of delectable Christmas goodies, Elf stars Sebastian Arcelus as Buddy the Elf, Amy Spanger (Rock of Ages) as Jovie, Tony winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone) as Emily, and George Wendt of Cheers fame as the big guy in the red suit. Momentum - New Victory, Manhattan’s premier theater for international family-friendly entertainment, presents a holiday show unlike any other: Momentum, by Tel Aviv’s Mayumana. Mummenschanz - The non-verbal, ultra-inventive performance troupe known for transforming everyday items into a kaleidoscope of whimsy has returned to the U.S. this holiday season with a show rich in all things playful and unforeseen. Mummenschanz uses “forms, shadow and light, and creative manipulation of sculptural, expressive masks” along with things like wires, tubes, boxes, even rolls of toilet paper to mesmerize theatergoers of all ages and cultures! The Radio City Christmas Spectacular - New York City’s annual feast of all things merry and bright! It arrives bursting at its red and green seams with twinkling lights, eye-popping costumes, mind-blowing special effects, the always amazing the Radio City Rockettes, a breathtaking cyber-ride with jolly old St. Nick and classic production numbers like the “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and the annual reenactment of the first Christmas in the “Living Nativity,” featuring with live animals, awesome lighting and soaring music. Wintuk - Cirque du Soleil’s snow-speckled winter tale is playing the Theater at Madison Square Garden for its fourth and final season, making a visit an absolute must. The story of a boy in search of snow enchants and dazzles with extreme bikers, skateboarders, inline pros (Charivari), as well as graceful aerialists, acrobats, dancers and mythical otherworldly powers. AND FOR THE VERY YOUNG: SING-ALONGS AND SEE-THROUGH SNOWBALLS John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean - The new holiday version (running thru 1/2) of the hit underwater musical adventure has an additional 15 minutes of fun including a holiday sing-along, a theatre-wide “snowfall,” holiday decorations and lights and an appearance by a very special snowman! The Gazillion Bubble Show - "The Next Generation" - The latest version of this hit family show arrives just in time for the holidays starring bubble World Record holder Deni Yang, who brings the magic of the holiday season to vivid life by creating snowball-like bubbles, a living snow globe (encapsulating some lucky kids from the audience!), and sending a flurry of “snow bubbles” throughout the theatre!
