Khan (33-4, 20 KOs) burst into the public consciousness at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens when, at 17 years of age, he captured a silver medal for Great Britain. The lightning quick former unified 140-pound champion has won seven of his last eight bouts as he prepares to take on the pound-for-pound king in a legacy-defining superfight. Before the main event, a pair of 21-year-old wunderkinds — Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson — will look to steal the show in their respective co-feature bouts. Steve... (read more)

Stanley Casselman’s “Liquid” paintings specifically are acrylic on polyester screen and then sprayed with silver nitrate. The process of applying the silver nitrate is called spray chrome. Silver nitrate is what's on the back of a mirror. I like to think of it as the leading edge of knowledge, the known vs. the unknown. Gretchen Bender (1951-2004) was a pioneering artist who worked across video, sculpture, computer graphics, photography, print and installation to interrogate the accelerated age of mass media. Moving to New York in 1978, Bender quickly fell in with the Post-Pictures Generation scene, centered around the artist-run gallery Nature Morte, as well as a milieu of artist and performers connected to The Kitchen.
