Wednesday, September 21st is the last day of summer and David Burke Kitchen in SoHo knows just how to mark it: with a final milkshake that promises to be one to remember. The restaurant in the The James Hotel New York is teaming up with neighbors Black Tap, experts in both burgers and milkshakes, for a final summer party.
The outdoor space at the Garden will be serving limited edition DBK X Black Tap boozy milkshakes.
David Burke Kitchen’s Executive Pastry Chef Tracy Wilk, in collaboration with Executive Chef/Owner Joe Isidori’s team at Black Tap, has created the over-the-top Boozy Donut Shake: Breckinridge Bourbon-spiked caramel milkshake with a brownie batter and cookie dough rim, garnished with whipped cream, toffee bits, and a caramel glazed toffee nut donut.
In addition to The Boozy Donut Shake, guests will enjoy a menu of Black Tap’s All-American Burger, specialty cocktails by Breckenridge Bourbon, and a salute to summer dining from David Burke Kitchen’s Executive Chef Raoul Whitaker. Look for loaded grilled corn, lobster rolls, and baked East Coast oysters on the half shell with bone marrow butter. The event runs from 6pm to 9pm and includes a live art performance by Nick Walker.
Tickets are $65 and include tax and tip.
