Madame Tussauds & Jon Hamm Unveil Don Draper Wax Figure

Don Draper, of AMC's Emmy Award-winning television series Mad Men, has been immortalized in wax and unveiled at  Madame Tussauds New York for the show’s final season. Golden Globe Award winner Jon Hamm -- who plays the popular protagonist -- helped unveil the figure.

Dressed in his classic gray suit, Don Draper’s wax figure resides in a spot-on replica of his office featuring the Mad Men star’s signature items including a hat stand, whiskey and decanter, ads of the era, a 1950s rotary phone, and a blotting pad. Jon Hamm worked closely with a team of 20 Madame Tussauds studio artists who took precise measurements and photographs over the course of four months, ensuring his Don Draper-inspired figure was exceptionally accurate.
