Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Gets 'Kinky'

Suddenly there’s a compelling new reason for theatre lovers (and adults of all ages) to be psyched on November 28th – and it has nothing to do with food or football.

This Thanksgiving NYC’s biggest and bestest annual parade, i.e., the 87th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, will feature a performance by the company of this year’s Tony-winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots (which, incidentally, recouped its investment in only 30 weeks).

The number set to be performed is the show’s pull-out-all-the-stops, fabulous finale, "Raise You Up"/"Just Be." So get out your sexiest footwear and plan to kick up your heels -- either in person or viewing the live NBC coverage -- as visions of Broadway stardom dance in your head. (Check here for details.)
