Shopping never gets old, especially in New York City, where new shopping centers and storefronts are constantly popping up all over town. Need the memo on the latest additions to the NYC retail world? Check out these five new shopping centers in NYC, along with what to find there (from clothing to food to impressive histories).

NYC New Shopping Center: Brookfield Place (Battery Park)

Brookfield Place

Originally known as the World Financial Center, Brookfield Place underwent a $250 million renovation and expansion project in an effort to drive more tourism to the area, and we have to say, we’re fans. The shopping center houses a vast assortment of high end stores, including Burberry, DVF, Gucci, Hermes, and Jo Malone. And as soon as your appetite kicks in from all the shopping, a plethora of restaurants and eateries have got you covered. From Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque to Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar, there’s something tasty here for everyone. 230 Vesey St., 212-417-7000, brookfieldplaceny.com

NYC New Shopping Center: Oculus (Financial District)

The Oculus not only serves as a shopping center to New York locals and tourists alike, but it is also considered one of the city’s national landmarks because of its footprint within the World Trade Center. Stepping into the Oculus, the building’s arched architecture is sure to impress you as much as its shop list. Tissot, the world’s largest distributor of Swiss watches, calls the Oculus home, as does the Apple Store, Tumi, Sephora, Pandora, and Lacoste. NYC New Shopping Center: Empire Stores Dumbo (Brooklyn)

Empire Stores DUMBO

Empire Stores Dumbo is a completely refurbished warehouse space that is now used to house businesses, stores, and even a public park. Yes, you read that correctly — its rooftop is considered a public park (and has wifi!). While the new shopping center is still acquiring businesses, West Elm, Empire Store Dumbo’s first retailer, moved in during August 2016. Shopping for furniture while taking in breathtaking views of the NYC skyline and iconic Brooklyn Bridge? Don’t mind if we do. 53-83 Water St., 212-726-0743, empirestoresdumbo.com

NYC New Shopping Center: Gansevoort Market (Chelsea)

On the old freight yards, you’ll find the Gansevoort Market, an open-air market that specializes in selling local produce, baked goods, and florist bouquets. In need of a snack between all that grocery shopping and bouquet buying? Grab a bowl at Gotham Poké, some meatballs at The Meatball Guys, or a pizza at Luzzo’s La Pizza Napoletana. You can even pick up some modern tea blends at Tease NYC, a tea drinker’s shopping haven. 353 W. 14th St., 646-678-3231, gansmarket.com

NYC New Shopping Center: Canal Street Market (SoHo)

Canal Street Market

Canal Street Market’s well-curated community incorporates both retail storefronts and an impressive food hall. Many of the stores you’ll see here aren’t your typical mass produced chain shops, and that gives this space a unique and independent feel that we can’t get enough of. Ladies & Gentlemen Studio is a multi-faceted design studio that will ignite your imagination, while Keap Candles offers pure, sustainable candles that support communities in need. As for the food, Davey’s Ice Cream, Boba Guys, and Alidoro all call Canal Street Market home. 265 Canal St., canalstreet.market
