Silent Summer Disco Parties with DJ Calvin Harris at Madame Tussauds New YorkJune 26, 2018 - by Merrill Lee Girardeau
If you’ve never attended a silent disco, know this: it’s a perfect recipe for a good time. Madame Tussauds in Times Square is taking the silent disco up a notch by placing DJ Calvin Harris at the head of the party. Come to this exclusive event this summer, happening on July 12, August 9, and September 6.
At these three summer events, Madame Tussauds will transform into a club where you can dance like no one’s watching. For the silent disco, you just put on headphones and start dancing along with the music. When you want a break, take off your headphones and watch everyone dancing in complete silence (you’ll probably get a good laugh out of it too!). Your ticket will get you up to four hours of dance time, with EDM as your personal soundtrack.
Nearby, the brand new figure of Scottish DJ Calvin Harris will have his hand on the turntable. This lifelike wax statue captures the popular DJ’s intensity and his electrifying stare. Harris’ recent collaboration with Dua Lipa, “One Kiss,” is a worldwide sensation with millions of streams and a spot at No. 1 on UK pop charts. The DJ’s other hits include “Feels” with Pharrell and Katy Perry and “This is What You Came For” with Rihanna. He has also collaborated with Migos, Frank Ocean, Future, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande.
Your tickets to the Silent Summer event will include access to the museum’s other exhibits (with exclusions), where you can see new lifelike wax figures like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as Kylie Jenner and “Notorious” Conor McGregor. Take plenty of selfies with these other so-real-it’s-scary figures as well.
So buy your tickets for one of these incredible dance parties! Tickets will soon be available from the link below for Calvin Harris’ Summer Session party, July 12, August 9, or September 6.
Madame Tussauds New York is the city’s prime destination for seeing celebrities, movie characters, and world leaders up close. This staple of Times Square attractions is full of lifelike wax figures and might make you do a double-take, as if Michael Jackson or Jennifer Lopez were actually in the room with you. Special themed exhibits include Marvel Super Heroes 4D, a Heidi Klum figure at the Project Runway room, Kong: Skull Island, and The Ghostbusters Experience. The museum is open 7 days a week.
