Three Great Specials for the World Cup in NYC

New York City is a great place to watch soccer, especially when it's the biggest games in the world. The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd edition of the competition, taking place in Qatar from November 20th until December 18th. Whether you’re a die-hard soccer fan or simply just like to cheer a team on over drinks, here are three New York City spots to catch all the action.

Roam Sporting Club (107-12 70th Rd.) in Forest Hills, Queens is hosting a special 50% off promotion for the World Cup games. They will open during the week for the 2pm games and at 11 am on Sundays. From 11am-3pm on Sundays they're offering half off the entire menu for brunch (not including bottomless drinks).

Bar Marseille (190 Beach 69th St.) in the Rockaways is showing the World Cup games along with happy hour options. At the downstairs bar, you'll find $1 oysters daily from 3-7pm, drink specials like a $10 cocktail of the day, $5 beers, and $8 glasses of house wine. Seating may be limited and is given on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early to grab your seat!

Clinton Hall will host special happy hours during World Cup matches, beginning on November 20th. In addition to their delicious regular menu from Executive Chef Darryl Harmon (with signatures like the Double Smashed Burger, Buffalo cauliflower, crispy chicken wings, and giant pretzels), soccer fans can order quesadillas with a choice of eggs, beef, or chicken for just $10 for morning games. A beer bucket of six Founders Solid Gold beers is just $30.
