Bill Murray, Jan Vogler and Friends Explore New Worlds
Bill Murray and cellist Jan Vogler, along with Brazilian pianist Vanessa Perez and Vogler's wife, violinist Mira Wang, recently participated in a TimesTalk to discuss their project, an album called New Worlds, that will be released on the label Decca Gold in September. It combines classical pieces, American standards, and literary readings. They also gave treated the audience to some live performances, as they prepare for a tour, with a stop Carnegie Hall October 16.

When you look at the photographs in the new exhibit American Visionary: John F. That’s one of the takeaways from Frank Lloyd Wright at 150: Unpacking the Archive at The Museum of Modern Art (through October 1st). A rendition of the museum is part of MoMA’s acquisition of Wright's own work products, including 55,000 drawings, 300,000 pages of letters, 125,000 photos, and 2,700 manuscripts, along with models, movies, and other memorabilia in an exhibition timed to coincide with Wright’s 150th birthday.
