Three Kings Day/Los Tres Reyes Celebration w/ Poetry & Music of Puerto Rico

Enjoy Three Kings Day traditions with live music and guest poets. Learn how children in Puerto Rico leave a box with hay or grass for the kings’ camels under their beds (like cookies for Santa) on the night before the holiday. Presented by us - the Nuyorican Poets Café - rooted in the Puerto Rican/ Afro Caribbean legacy of spoken word and honoring history by creating forums for expression and experimentation, in partnership with the Battery Park City Authority. ALL ages are welcome!
