The Bin Laden Papers
Wednesday, March 15 at 6 p.m.
The U.S. Navy SEALs who killed Osama bin Laden in his compound in Pakistan also gathered valuable intelligence on al-Qaeda. In her recently published book, The Bin Laden Papers: How the Abbottabad Raid Revealed the Truth about al-Qaeda, Its Leader and His Family, Nelly Lahoud, a senior fellow in New America’s International Security program, distills the content of nearly 6,000 pages of Arabic language private communications that were recovered during the raid.
