The Premiere of '8:48' A Living Testimony of Life and Loss on 9/11
Please join us for a private event at the National September 11th Memorial & Museum. Witness the premiere of "8:48," a short film based on the song of the same title by Ginger Winn produced by Grammy-nominated producer David Baron (The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Lenny Kravitz) and written by 9/11 attorney Matthew Baione, which examines life and loss on that fateful day. "8:48" the short film was executive produced by Tina and Matthew Baione, produced by Sho Murphey, directed by Kevin Lombardo, starring 9/11 responder turned actor Keith W. Richards (Uncut Gems, Eephus, Ponyboi), and was filmed at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island. This in-person event will honor the memories of lives lost on 9/11, in its aftermath, and due to the side effects of the toxic dust cloud left behind through the lens of one tragedy meant to emphasize the fact that within statistics and a monolithic tragedy are thousands of individual tragedies.
