The program mixes Parker's work with revival's of Waring's Octandre (1958) restaged by Aileen Passloff and 12 Objects from Tender Buttons (1972) restaged by Richard Colton as well as Passloff's own Nocturne for Bob (2000.) Parker's genre-non-conforming work which ranges in this program from experimental tap to post-modern classicism reflects the everlasting legacy of Waring's broadly inclusive taste and refusal to be categorized. http://www.cityguideny.com/eventinfo.cfm?id=334756 92Y 92Y
