Long-time a Francophile, Singer/pianist Steve Ross celebrates the beautiful city of Paris.
Featured will be songs by American writers such as Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Yip Harburg, Oscar Hmmerstein II, Jerome Kern, Jerry Herman and Irving Berlin ("April In Paris," "Harlen On My Mind," "The Last Time I Saw Paris," "Can-Can," "C'est Magnifique," "I Love Paris") — as well as those by French and Paris-based writers such as Charles Trenet and Jacques Brel ("La Mer," "Jackie").
Included will be a special Paris in Hollywood section featuring songs from Gigi, and Steve's pianistic tribute to the melodies made famous by the incomparable Edith Piaf.
