Olivia Kapoor Enigma
Known for her ability to reveal ethereal dimensions through time and emotion, Kapoor’s work challenges traditional notions of color, form, and texture. Her vibrant canvases—crafted in acrylic, oil, and pastel—blend the contemporary with the classic, drawing inspiration from Surrealist and Impressionist masters such as Salvador Dalí, Vincent Van Gogh, and Claude Monet.
Kapoor’s technique is both intimate and reflective, merging patterns and dimensions that invite viewers into a dream-like interaction with each piece. She describes her art as a dialogue between her emotions and the canvas, asking herself, “What do you want them to feel? What do you want them to know?” Through rich palettes and vibrant composition, Enigma captures core themes that drive Kapoor’s oeuvre, inviting viewers into a dynamic, immersive experience and offering a sense of connection to both the vastness of outer space and the intimacy of inner worlds.
The Opening Reception for Enigma will be held at The Loft on Thursday, October 24th, from 6-8 PM.
