Regina Martin in Decades of Love Featuring Paul Cuffari (of Wallace Roney)!
Get in the Valentine's mood with Regina Martin & Paul Cuffari "Decades of Love" at the Birdland Theater on January 13 at 9:30pm!
About this event
Decades of Love, will feature Regina Martin singing five decades of great love songs for Valentine's Day with her band, professional Jazz pianist Mike Bond and bassist Paul Cuffari!
Triple Platinum producer Jim Sabella says "Regina Martin has a presence on stage that stays with you. Her voice is always full of emotion and control. Regina knows how to command an audience. It's real. From the heart."
Regina began performing at the age of three. At 13, Regina caught the attention of country music legend Brenda Lee. She performs regularly with the Richie Cannata (of Billy Joel) band in NYC, has headlined at famed NYC music venues, and has been featured in festivals opening for performers like Jinx Jones, Chris Cain and the Tommy Castro Band.
Paul Cuffari is a young and emerging talent who has been collaborating professionally for listeners around the world since he was 18. When he was 19, the late great trumpeter Wallace Roney (Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams, Art Blakey), hired Paul to be the bassist in his final quintet. He toured worldwide and recorded Roney's last album with the group. He has also been fortunate to share the stage with Lenny White, Enoch Smith Jr., and has studied with the master bassist, Buster Williams.
