Strauss at Books are Magic's shop. Sheinbaum, the founder & co-editor of quarterly literary journal A VELVET GIANT, will hold her residency on June 15th and 16th from noon to 4 p.m. Strauss, a queer up-and-coming writer/artist pursuing a B.A. from Barnard College, will have their residency on June 29th and 30th, also from noon to 4 p.m. The Poetry Society of New York designed the Micro-Residency program to support literature by giving writers time to work in stimulating environments and the public a glimpse into the writing process.
