How to Talk to Your Kids About Climate Change: Adult Lecture
Our children are facing the challenges of a warming world head on. They have a right to understand the realities of the climate crisis and what it means for them – and the adults in their lives have a responsibility to provide that knowledge as best they can.
Join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for a special lecture and event with Harriet Shugarman, an internationally renowned activist, policy analyst, economist and author of the book, How to Talk to Your Kids About Climate Change, Turning Angst into Action. She'll share her unique insights and some best practices for having these meaningful conversations.
Due to limited space, advance registration on brooklynbridgepark.org is required. This event takes place at 334 Furman St. Brooklyn, NY 11201. It is free to attend and open to all ages, but geared to adults.
