Studio Art: Printmaking Inspired by Andy Warhol
1–5 pm
Education Gallery, 1st Floor
Dive deeply into our special exhibition Andy Warhol: Revelation in this intimate studio art class focused on the artist’s printmaking techniques, and create your own prints inspired by his innovative process. This in-depth class begins with a walkthrough led by exhibition co-curator Carmen Hermo, where we’ll discuss how Andy Warhol’s creative process was influenced by his Catholic faith, immigrant family upbringing, and queer identity. Then, we’ll head into our studios for an intensive workshop led by members of Shoestring Press, a community printmaking studio based in Crown Heights.
Tickets are $125 and include admission to Andy Warhol: Revelation. Member tickets are $115. Not a Member? Join today!
