UNIQLO and Magnum Photos Debut New Project in NYC Parks: Global Photo Exhibition-PEACE FOR ALL
Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced the launch of its Global Photo Exhibition - PEACE FOR ALL, a major photography initiative in collaboration with the renowned photographic cooperative Magnum Photos. Now reaching New York City, this impactful exhibition has previously been hosted in over ten major cities worldwide.
In partnership with several NYC Parks—including Washington Market Park, Cadman Plaza Park, Chelsea Green, John Jay Park, DeSalvio Playground, and Carl Schurz Park—UNIQLO’s exhibition offers New Yorkers and visitors an immersive opportunity to experience the PEACE FOR ALL project. These public installations bring art into the heart of the city, accessible to all through a message of peace.
The exhibition showcases a curated selection of powerful photographs by acclaimed Magnum photographers Cristina de Middel, Lindokuhle Sobekwa, and Olivia Arthur, who traveled to Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Romania to document PEACE FOR ALL-funded projects from their unique perspectives. These vivid images reflect the real-world impact of UNIQLO’s PEACE FOR ALL initiative, illustrating the global influence of purchasing and wearing PEACE FOR ALL T-shirts, with proceeds supporting humanitarian efforts worldwide.
Through this collaboration with NYC Parks, the exhibition reinforces UNIQLO’s commitment to social impact by making art accessible in public spaces and encouraging a collective reflection on the value of peace.
