Gregorio Uribe Big Band
The New York–based Gregorio Uribe Big Band is a 16-piece orchestra that blends cumbia and other Colombian rhythms with a powerful big-band sound. Highlighting the contributions of Latin American immigrant musicians and composers in the US, the band is joined by special guests in Uribe's own compositions, as well as new arrangements of works by Latin American immigrant composers.
