Verdi Requiem
Verdi Requiem at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
The Masterwork and Worcester Choruses join forces in a reprise performance of Verdi’s breathtaking Requiem. The exquisite masterpiece filled with tragedy and grandeur is performed with two-hundred combined voices accompanied by a forty-eight-piece orchestra, under the baton of conductor Chris Shepard. A musical tour de force poised to provide an unforgettable afternoon for classical music lovers.
Featuring a quartet of superb soloists Robyn Marie Lamp, Soprano, Sahoko Sato Timpone, Mezzo-Soprano, Jorge Pita Carreras, Tenor, and Edwin Jhamal Davis, Bass. The concert is on Sunday October 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Tickets are available at www.masterwork.org, Carnegie Charge 212-247-7800, and the Carnegie Hall box office at 57th Street and Seventh Avenue.
