Culmination of a 45-year journey: Benjamin Zander and the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a “revelatory” Beethoven’s Ninth at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. Having just celebrated his 50th year as a conductor, octogenarian founder of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra Benjamin Zander will lead critically acclaimed soloists Liv Redpath (soprano), Ashley Dixon (mezzo-soprano), Nicholas Phan (tenor), Alfred Walker (baritone), the Chorus Pro Musica, and the Marsh Chapel Choir of Boston University. Zander will give a pre-concert talk at 1:30pm and the concert will follow at 3pm. Both will be live streamed. Carnegie Hall tickets are here, livestream tickets are here.
