NYYS McCrindle Concert
NYYS Orchestra under the direction of Andrew J. Kim will be performing three works by amazing, living composers - 2023 Grammy Winner Jessie Montgomery's Starburst, Texu Kim's Dub-Sanjo and Grace Hale's This is Not a Dream (A First Music Commission and World Premiere).
As a music education organization that prides itself on inspiring the next generation of musical citizens, it is our duty to make sure that these young musicians are not only exposed to underrepresented composers but play them and learn about them as well.
We will also be joined by NY Times 2021 Classical Music pianist, Zhu Wang - who will be performing Greig's Piano Concerto. The robust repertoire will also include Elgar's Enigma Variations.
