Comedian and host Rachel Rothenberg holds many strong opinions about comedy, most notably that she knows great stand-up when she sees it and that she's sick of seeing crowd work. Thus, she invented The Giggling Hour, a curated hour of jokes from some of New York City's funniest stand-up comics featuring ZERO CROWD WORK, only hilarious material.

The Giggling Hour is the perfect show for comedy connoisseurs and introverts alike. Featuring the comedic stylings of David Mills, Micah Eames, Vickie Wang, Finessica, and Eric Walsh.

​DAVID MILLS is an award-winning stand-up comedian who has performed for over 20 years. He has performed in NYC, London, San Francisco, Edinburgh, Paris, Stockholm, and Zurich, and has opened for Margaret Cho and shared bills with Trevor Noah, Mae Martin, and Jimmy Carr. His solo stand-up cabaret show, STAY LOST (revisited) is currently playing at Pangea.

MICAH EAMES has been featured on Cracked Comedy.

VICKIE WANG is a writer, interpreter, and stand-up comedian who has opened for Atsuko Okatsuka and Jenny Yang. Vickie has been featured on NPR and in The New Yorker.

FINESSICA is a performer at Philadelphia's Helium and Punch Line, as well as Don't Tell Comedy. She has opened for Turae and Reggie Conquest. She is also the producer of the Philly-based Funny Money Show.

ERIC WALSH is the winner of the 2022 Comedy Mob Festival and the 2024 Laughing Buddha Comedy Festival.

RACHEL ROTHENBERG performed regularly at Salt Lake City's Wiseguys Comedy Club, where she opened for Rachel Feinstein, Matteo Lane, and Greg Behrendt. In Utah, she produced the all-woman Dumbbroads at Wiseguys and independent shows as half of Buxom & Bawdy.
