The Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble presents: "Silence - A Fable"
Come join us for an evening of entertaining music at Christ & St Stephen's Church with the new "Silence - A Fable" by Richard Auldon Clark with text by Edgar Allan Poe for chamber ensemble and narrator, and the charming "Light of Heart" by Stefania de Kenessey. Plus Romanian Dances by Bela Bartok, music by Peter Schickele, "Vonnegut Suite" by Clark based on writings of Kurt Vonnegut and a new piece for 4 violas! It's our annual pre-Thanksgiving concert. Come be a part of it!

The Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble is derived from the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra. Concert venues have included Manhattan’s Church of Christ & St. Stephen’s, Carnegie’s Weill and Zankel Halls, Symphony Space, The National Flute Association conventions, WSKG TV and WXXI and WCNY radio stations. MCCE is the resident ensemble at the annual Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival each summer. They can be heard on the Keuka Classical recording label.
