Chris Bergson has performed with Levon Helm, Hubert Sumlin, Norah Jones, John Hammond and Little Sammy Davis as well as jazz legends Annie Ross and drummer Al Foster (Miles Davis) and opened for B.B. King, Etta James and Bettye LaVette, to name just a few. The Chris Bergson Band brings their "gut-busting, horn-bedecked NY blues" (MOJO) to The Loft at City Winery on Monday, June 17th featuring acclaimed soul singer Ellis Hooks (Steve Cropper), saxophonist Jay Collins (Gregg Allman), trumpeter Reggie Pittman (Jaimoe's Jasssz Band), organist Craig Dreyer (Dispatch), bassist Matt Clohesy (Patti Austin) and drummer Tony Mason (Amy Helm.)
