Jodi Merendino Bencivenga Run 5K

Jodi Merendino-Bencivenga, College of Staten Island Director of Dining Services, friend to all and a dedicated community member, lost her valiant battle to cancer in August of 2024. For more than 35 years, Jodi oversaw Dining Services, and her name bespoke the highest caliber of service and leadership with compassion.
In memory of her life and legacy, her family and friends, in collaboration with the College of Staten Island, will host the “Jodi Merendino-Bencivenga 5K Run/Walk” on May 4, 2025. Funds raised will support the naming of the Humane World for Animals (formerly known as the Humane Society of the U.S.), a cause near to Jodi’s heart.
Please join us in this day of celebration to honor the spirit of our dear Jodi.
