ABOUT BARRIE COHEN/ANTHEMIA Originally from New York, Barrie Cohen spent several years traveling and working on organic vegetable farms. During that time, she began exploring the different uses for plants. She became increasingly well-versed in their medicinal properties, eventually falling in love with the traditional practice of plant dyeing. Today, Cohen works out of her studio in Brooklyn and dyes fabric using plants and flowers to create one of a kind healing garments. Find out about Cooper Hewitt's accessibility services.
