Technobabble Blue | Paul Michael Graves
Cynthia Byrnes Contemporary Art presents Technobabble Blue, a solo exhibition showcasing a new collection of oil paintings by Paul Michael Graves.
Technobabble Blue explores the concept of contrast through the artist’s choice of color and creative process, considering dichotomies such light and dark and frenzy and calm. Featuring Graves’s signature technobabble script which expresses the tension and harmony between various technologies and what makes us human, the artist stresses the humanity, and thus the beauty, behind technology.
Curated by Tessa Rosenstein
Visitors are welcome to attend a preview in the artist’s studio (#609) on Thursday, November 14, 6-8pm. Opening reception is Thursday, December 5, 6-8pm (#12A PH).
