Join the NY Phil holiday tradition! Handel’s classic setting of Biblical texts is marked by the opera composer’s knack for drama and storytelling, and his writing for the human voice reaches dizzying heights of expression, sustained by iconic melodies from the Orchestra. These performances feature a stunning cast of soloists, Musica Sacra, and Baroque specialist Ton Koopman on the podium.
Concerts on December 11, 12, and 14 will begin at 7:00pm. A matinee concert on December 13 will begin at 2:00pm.
