Young, New Orleans-bred trombonist and vocalist Jeffery Miller has been mentored by artists including Wyclffe Gordon, the Marsalis family (Ellis, Wynton, and Delfeayo), Reggie Young, Curtis Fuller, and Steve Turre, and he's now making a major name for himself in music. In addition to high-profile projects like playing with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Delfeayo Marsalis' Uptown Jazz Orchestra, the Wynton Marsalis Septet, and the Louisian Philharmonic Orchestra, Miller is also building his bandleading resume. Tonight marks his debut performance as a Jazz at Lincoln Center headliner, and he's here for one set only, so make sure to swing by and enjoy the moment with him.
