This November, there’s no better way to celebrate Old Fashioned Month than by grabbing a new take on an old classic at some of New York City’s best bars. To celebrate the monthlong festivities, the classic Old Fashioned cocktail is getting a modern upgrade thanks to PYRAT premium rum. Available for a limited time only, Fats Duvall’s Rhum Café will be adding the Shine Bright cocktail to the menu, made with PYRAT XO Reserve, grapefruit cordial, cardamom bitters and Angostura Bitters. The PYRAT XO Reserve has notes of orange, cinnamon, vanilla, and honey – while the grapefruit cordial is made with star anise, rosemary, grapefruit zest and juice, and honey to balance out the sweetness of the rum and create a brighter new take on an Old Fashioned. This cocktail is only available at Fats Duvall’s Rhum Cafe throughout November as a limited-time menu placement, so be sure to stop by before it’s taken off the menu! In addition to PYRAT’s old fashioned cocktail, you can also find the BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho Old Fashioned cocktail, available at Las’ Lap, and the SANTA TERESA 1796 Coffee Old Fashioned cocktail, available at Analogue, throughout the month of November.
