EAT NYC will be held at the Food and Finance High School (525 West 50th Street, Manhattan) on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6:30pm – 9pm. This fun family event will feature special keynote address and book signing by Rocco DiSpirito, guest speakers Dylan Richards, America’s favorite teen food critic and star of TV’s Dylan’s Lunch Box and Tanya Zuckerbrot, bestselling author, television personality and creator of the F-Factor diet. Screenings of episodes of “Dylan’s Lunch Box” will be broadcast throughout the venue. Satisfy your taste buds with foods from local restaurants committed to local, healthy, and sustainable food practices, and experience kid-friendly cooking demonstrations and veggie-centric culinary creations by Veggiecation Program. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Ground Up Campaign, the signature program of non-profit Birds Nest Foundation, which plants academic gardens in public schools across the nation. Admission is $25.00 per adult and $10.00 per child.
