Project III's Embodied Earth: Garden of Voices
Join us for Garden of Voices, an immersive and interactive Experience that combines art, movement, and community to address climate action through creativity. Hosted by Project III’s Embodied Earth in collaboration with The Brotherhood Sister Sol and sponsored by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, this unique experience explores sustainable farming, compost solutions, and the power of communal environmental stewardship.
Event Highlights:
Interactive Stations (2:00 PM - 7:30 PM): Engage in hands-on gardening workshops, learn composting techniques with The Brotherhood Sister Sol Youth Program, enjoy local Harlem food vendors, and dive into curated resources at our reading station. The day will also feature intermittent dance performances from local Harlem artists. Garden of Voices Performance (7:30 PM - 8:30 PM): Experience a site-specific performance blending art, movement, and climate research to inspire collective action. Dance Yourself Clean (8:30 PM - 10:00 PM): As the night falls, the community garden transforms into a vibrant dance floor. Groove with us to beats and celebrate the power of art and community.
Why Attend? Garden of Voices offers a rare opportunity to explore environmental topics through a creative lens while connecting with like-minded individuals. This event is more than a performance; it's a call to action, a celebration of community, and a testament to the power of art in driving social change.
Admission: Free and open to the public on September 14 & 15. For an exclusive first look, join us on September 13 for a ticketed invited dress rehearsal with complimentary food and beverages.
