The Music of Al Green & Otis Redding
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
All Ages Two drink minimum The songs of two of the greatest soul singers of our time — Al Green and Otis Redding — are the focus of this musical homage at Club Groove in NYC. Green brought us classics like "Let's Stay Together," "Love and Happiness" and "Tired of Being Alone," while Otis Redding is famed for such timeless songs as "(Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay," "Try a Little Tenderness" and "I've Been Loving You Too Long." Their remarkable catalogs of hits will be performed and celebrated by Harlem-based duo Papa J. and Mo' Soul. The group incorporates blues, soul and funk into their sounds, making it a perfect fit for Green's and Redding's arsenals of gorgeous, moving hit songs.
