Free Third Thursday: Back to School Party x Late Night ICP
Come celebrate the new school year at ICP's annual Back to School x Late Night ICP takeover! Join us for Free Third Thursday featuring free museum admission from 6–9 PM, and opportunities to learn about upcoming fall courses through mini drop-in lectures, darkroom & facility tours led by ICP staff, a curated reading list from our library, and more.
Third Thursdays at ICP On these special evenings, the third Thursday of each month from 6–9 PM, we welcome our community into the museum for no cost. Free Third Thursdays further ICP's dedication to expanding access to see important exhibitions and experience a robust range of programming. We look forward to welcoming you to our space to connect with ICP's community and learn more about the history and future of imagemaking.

Ethan Hill is an award winning environmental portrait photographer who has had a +20 year career working in the magazine business. A partial client list includes Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, WIRED, OUT, and the New York Times. Aside from his commercial pursuits Ethan has consistently maintained a personal art practice chronicling the lives of gay men, and has work included in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Eli Schmidt (BFA Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001) has been living and working in New York for over 20 years. His work spans across the genres of fashion, documentary, celebrity and advertising photography for magazines including T:The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, W, and Interview. In 2019, Schmidt began publishing FROCK THE WORLD magazine; a queer annual highlighting drag, kink and fetish photography.
SHAN Wallace (b. 1991) is a nomadic award-winning interdisciplinary artist, archivist, and image-maker, from Baltimore, MD. Wallace utilizes a range of mediums to weave narratives and imagine new stories. Rooted in image-making techniques such as photography, film, and collage, as well as in situ installations, these mediums serve as the foundation of her artistic practice. SHAN lives and works in many spaces between Brooklyn, New York and Baltimore, MD.
Idris Talib Solomon focuses on stories that are overlooked and lack proper representation within the African American community. He photographs dancers and gymnasts in Harlem, funeral homes in East New York, muralists in Bushwick, Black cowboys in Houston, unit stills for television and movies, and his wife and son. He is the Creative Director and host of The Black Shutter Podcast.
