Worse Than You
Production company Disco Nap is thrilled to announce that WORSE THAN YOU, an original ‘traumedic’ play written and performed by Mo Fry Pasic (Public Theater/Arts Nova) and directed by Sudi Green (SNL), is returning to New York for a limited 3-night run: June 20-22 at JACK in Brooklyn.
After two successful runs in LA at The Elysian and Hudson Theatre, and a successful off-Broadway New York debut at SoHo Playhouse in December, this upcoming run will be the show’s last U.S. stop in NY before heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
If you’re not yet familiar with Mo Fry Pasic, she’s been described by The New York Times’ Ben Brantley as having "boundless pain and self-hatred at the heart of [her] performance." Pasic and Green came up together through the New York comedy scene and previously collaborated on buzzy comedy show TRINE, which they co-hosted alongside Bowen Yang.
The duo’s new play, Worse Than You explores the manifestation of trauma related to sexual assault through the lens of self-deprecating humor. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll walk away with a new crush.
