An art pop-up Warning Signs! by Amanda McCauley on February 29th, 2020 in the Flower District as we celebrate on the eve of NYC’s single-use plastic bag ban in partnership with Plastic Pollution Coalition and 5Gyres to appreciate art and learn how we can do more to reduce plastic in the environment and our lives.
McCauley is best known for her pressed flower and botany collage work that celebrates the natural world through her organic art practices, which she often teaches in workshops. Warning Signs! partners with the Plastic Pollution Coalition and 5Gyres to call attention to the omnipresence of plastic in our environment and its harmful effects by showcasing McCauley’s whimsical work on the eve of the single-use plastic bag ban in the state.
Join us and jumpstart this eco-art movement alongside Amanda and help heal our planet.
