Over the past decade, Enoura Observatory has become a major focus of Sugimoto's practice. The campus includes capacious gallery and astronomical observation spaces, a tearoom and an outdoor Roman-inspired stone amphitheater with a glass stage. Sugimoto will also discuss his other recent architectural projects and their connection to his photographic practice and exhibitions, including Gates of Paradise. Followed by a book signing and reception with the artist.
